Dr. Helmut Katzgraber (PhD, Physics) is a computational physicist and technology leader with 20+ years across academia and industry, spanning different areas of physics, optimisation and quantum technologies. Formerly a professor at ETH Zurich and Texas A&M University, he received an NSF CAREER award and was elected Fellow of the American Physical Society. Since 2020 he has led interdisciplinary research teams both at Microsoft and Amazon. In parallel he has worked as an advisor for different VC funds.
